Crystal Grippin


Crystal began her career with the District in 2018. As a Biologist, she leads the Invasive Aedes Program and is responsible for Community Outreach. Before joining Delta Vector Control District, Crystal was a Community Health Advisor with Peace Corp Benin where she provided technical support for a project that aimed to improve health outcomes in the areas of malaria, pneumonia, malnutrition, and diarrheal diseases. 

She holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis and a M.S. in Public Health with a concentration in Parasitology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Crystal is certified by the California Department of Public Health as a Vector Control Technician in Categories A through D.

When not working, Crystal enjoys traveling, taking dance classes, and practicing Spanish and Mandarin.
